I came up with a prototype redesign to replace the existing site.
Currently the site is using WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce for product catalog functionality. My redesign would remove Elementor in favor of WordPress/Gutenberg blocks and component-based design principles.
Redesign goals:
- enforce design consistency by using components that allow the right amount of variation and flexibility
- make the authoring experience consistent and with as little friction as possible
- elevate the StereoLand brand to be more modern, high-end, and elegant
- leverage as much "core WordPress" as possible and reduce dependence on plugins
